Prologis' Topgolf Plans for Tracy Revealed

ALICE’S ENGLISH’S PRA UNCOVERS PROLOGIS’ TOPGOLF PLANS PRESENTED AT A MARCH 2022 WESTSIDE DEVELOPMENT PLAN PRESENTATION TO THE CITY.

Kudos to former Tracy City Council candidate Alice English for providing tangible proof of Prologis’ future plans for a Topgolf in Tracy. The city posted Ms. English’s PRA (link here) regarding a Topgolf and in the city’s response were several documents reflecting the envisioned Topgolf.

In a document titled, “IPC Phase 3_Development Review Set 24x36,” we see several site plan designs for the golf center. We present the following –

Please note the project applicant “Prologis c/o Tom Martin” and the “GOLF DRIVING RANGE DEVELOPMENT PLAN REVIEW Tracy, CA.” The next slide shows the exact location of the proposed Topgolf adjacent the International Park of Commerce.

Now, before you naysayers start going off about nothing in the presentation stating “Topgolf,” we kindly reply with the old cliché, “If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.”

We found only one other company like Topgolf in the U.S. called “Drive Shack,” with locations in Raleigh NC, Richmond VA, Orlando FL, and West Palm Beach FL. So, yes, there was an outside chance, very outside chance that it was going to be a Drive Shack.

We’re going to stick with our source that told us it was indeed going to be a Topgolf, and that it is indeed currently dead thanks to City Attorney Bijal Patel.

A Topgolf WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT for Tracy, Alice. Maybe when you’re talking with Tracy City Attorney Patel, as she sits in her multi-million dollar home in San Ramon, you can put in a good word for the project.
