Eleassia Davis Bails on Tracy

It’s official: Eleassia Davis is bailing on Tracy for greener pastures.

The one-and-done city council member and failed mayoral candidate is not wasting time either.

She already has a “pending” offer on her home, and based on the description of their online listing below, they can’t get out of town fast enough.

So much for her “Community First” slogan!

It’s clear all of Eleassia Davis’s talk about being a community advocate who cares about our children and their futures was just that – talk.

It’s another good reminder to be careful who you vote for, as people’s motivation to run for public office is never certain.

Davis’s quick departure makes it clear that she was always in it for herself and the minimal perks that go with being an elected official.

We know this also to be true for Mateo Bedolla. He launched failed campaigns for Assembly and Tracy Mayor while still in his first term on council.

The verdict on Evans is still out. 

Either way, Davis’s departure marks the end of the Bedolla-Evans-Davis ill-fated alliance, which is good news for Tracy taxpayers.

For what it’s worth, the word on the street is that she’s headed to the Lone Star State.
